So, are you saying that the possibility of reasonable caution at night is out of the question?
For the entire game? That's no longer reasonable caution, but something else entirely. You still need to understand the difference between daytime Mafia activity aimed at executing a Town member, thereby depriving themselves of their last chance of winning, and nighttime actions by Town/Neutral roles, which are part of the game. If that's caution, then maybe killers shouldn't move at all, because there are traps and killing defenses/abilities. They could just set traps for each other and wait for the whole game.
