The same thing happened to me (i.e., I didn't find one of the artifacts, I don't remember which one). Well, I thought, that's it... I'll have to start over. But no, the mission can be completed perfectly well without this secondary quest.
A question for a hint: where is the portal leading to Raylag's sanctuary located? Help, please, I've searched the entire map, but I can't find it... :smile15:
