No, I captured it first, right after returning from the library; I broke through the gate guards (which was the "last battle that interested me") and the small castle garrison.

It was worth banning Armageddon on the map - before that, it almost never dropped for anyone.

“Armageddon” wasn’t random; I wasn’t hoping for a lucky spell drop in the castle and instead got “clairvoyance.”

The boss didn’t use fire wave. First turn - cast a spell, second turn - attacked the stack of gargoyles, third turn - there was no third turn.
