It was a surprising discovery for me that on Balance, you can spawn without roads to adjacent zones (except for the Guardian Outpost), and it's not considered a technical restart.
(In my opinion, it's about as strange as the fact that a technical restart hasn't been implemented for 6LM10A, even though the only road leads to the exit of a one-way path – while one player navigates the roads, the other crawls through the fields, the scale is just different).
After finally receiving an answer to this question, I decided not to continue the game.
As a result of discussions in private messages, the last formulation of the proposed rule about a stalemate in the castle siege section has been changed. The wording about the gate was awkward in the case of a Fort, and it was also poorly worded for a Tower. Now, the essence is written in a clear form. To avoid creating another post here, I have edited the original, which I reference in my signature.
3. An exception is a stalemate situation during a castle siege if the attacker has lost a catapult and cannot freely penetrate behind the castle walls without taking damage – this is a loss for the attacker, and they must retreat. If the attacker has the ability to freely penetrate behind the castle walls without taking damage, and the defender creates a stalemate situation, then the defender chooses – to lose the battle or offer a draw.
