At the beginning of the season, both players had 1500 points. And the victory gave Maretti 17 points. In the summer, Maretti played and won a lot, his rating grew rapidly, and by the end of the season it was already around 1800. Redwait, however, had approximately an equal number of wins and losses, and his rating fluctuated around 1500. The difference of 300 points reduced the points for a win to +3 at the end of the season.
And here is a loss at the end of the season against Mizrael (rating below 60th place) which was worth 29 points:

That is, one loss for Mikhail was equivalent to 10 victories over players with the same rating. The higher you climb, the more painful it is to fall.

If we talk about ratings in general, as far as I know, in many sports they depend on the date. In tennis, for example, older earned points expire. If you don't play for six months, your ranking drops significantly.

Also, it is much easier for tournament organizers to deal with reports when the date makes it more or less clear what game it is and where to find it on the forum if there are any questions about it.

Therefore, it is necessary to indicate the date. Don't force the organizers to do this uninteresting and monotonous work for you.
