Which castle is the most advantageous to play as?

I don't understand how to properly upgrade castles. When I play offline, I upgrade the Capitol, and then only the army. When I play online, I lose with this game strategy. How should I properly upgrade the castle (I'm an amateur, so I play on difficulty levels 2-4). :smile13: :confused:
