Thanks for the game!
Get your popcorn ready, gentlemen.
I'll start with the restarts. We each took 111. Then Gunnar comes to me; at 111 he gets offense and moves toward the log, one ГО, and they are same-tier. But at 112 I simply get crushed by 4 ranged blocks (19 archers, 7 elves, and 12 upgraded kents remain, and there's another guard ahead with 20+ chieftains). After long deliberation, I take a restart. Maretti asks, why did you restart? I say there are tons of ranged blocks, almost no army left. He says, you should have waited one more day and then taken it, well whatever, this saved us some time. I don't understand what he means, since I already took 111, but oh well.
The next deal is great, except that it takes 3 days to get to the Inferno. There are Gunnar and Moandor, +1 speed was beaten. At 112 I calmly "light up" Moandor (you know, in terms of "demoralizing" him, oops). And he takes 113. I can't understand anything at all... I write that you already took 111. He responds in turn that we play either 3 restarts of 111 or 2 restarts of 114 in total. Well, considering he tried to warn me about this—I just didn't get it, and since it was 2 AM, I didn't really resist. We started playing.
The start is good. 18 archers with one building upgrade.
111 I fight my way into the Inferno zone.
112 I take almost all mines except sulfur, can't reach the Castle.
113 I take the Castle.
114 I beat 12 trolls for a prison and a chest, they give me Solmir lvl 5, I go to the Castle zone.
115 I take the Castle, fight my way into the Dungeon zone, build a chain for passage to Tower
116 I take the Dungeon, beat a box behind an army of dwarves, stop a few steps short of the Tower.
117 I take the Tower, Kyrre crashes there, I take a box, there are 110 caps. 2500 wasted... Solmir is being tricky with ГО from weirdos (also as a GS check), but I forgot to buy him out... it was almost 3 AM.
Result of the week - horses in the citadel at home, Inferno 1245+gm2.
Then from 121 the boring process of demonizing begins. Boring because it went through with only one unpleasant moment when I lost a horse in the "nagibanka". GM5 upgrade. They gave me a portal and meteor shower. In GM5 they gave me sacrifice, which disappointed me, as there was an option to simply jump over the second ГО with DD. Kyrre does have basic earth, though. The most interesting part started at 125.
125. It was five in the morning. And Stirlitz was thinking through a plan to destroy the Reichstag. Built double mana in the Dungeon. Then I thought: okay, now I'll crash from the Dungeon into Inferno, run into the +1sp booster because sp=1, speed up and stand under ГО. On the next turn I'll upgrade demons and beat the bears. Everything seems fine. I get crushed by monks. I enter Inferno to buy out Kyrre, but then I just fucking lose it.THERE IS NO TAVERN. From my scream of Holy shit, both my room and the neighboring room woke up because I'm living in a dorm now. They came in to ask if everything was okay with me. Yes... okay. But it gets better.
126 I look at the opponent's timer; he passed the turn 52 seconds before the end. Well, I think for sure he broke into the center. Especially since I thought his exit was direct.
I gather all my power, leaving only pits and a couple of pegasi. I go to hit ГО. ГО is 35 bears. I have 30 horned ones, 82 demons, 4 war horses, single-digit pegasi. I have blindness and regular slow. When one bear remains, having woken up, I have 30 horned ones and 76 demons left. I shoot, 4 mikhails remain from the stack. And then of course they get HOLY MORALE and at my scream of what the fuck is this same shit the entire dorm collective already started slowly gathering. Around 6 AM.
Well whatever. 12 horned ones and 76 demons left.
The next ГО Bone Dragons; the thought occurs to me, should I check them as losers on GS? Nah, bad idea, someone in my head says. I bring pegasi and imps as meat and attack. Autobattle killed 16 regular and 5 upgraded but lost. I'm like, wait, I have a book, ha, forward!
36 dragons with 5 GS. GS flew and immediately killed my one-hit wonder. I cast slow on the upgraded ones, hmmm speed 9. I attack with archers, demons, hurray luck! I hit, 1 dragon remains. Going well, I think. And then a catastrophe happens. One damn upgraded dragon, for some reason I don't understand, didn't hit pegasi or imps as meat. He decided to suicide against a demon. And naturally cast decay. And here my pegasi shit themselves. And all dragons immediately as one attack the demons. At my scream of Fuck even the warden ran in shouting I'll evict you. Only 42 demons remain from the whole stack. With shaking hands I press the Tab button and type the letters gg. After that, I looked at the opponent's situation. Despite Octavia's advantage in combat stats and her having expert offense and defense, only gm2 was built. Timer is running out. If I had attacked a day later with upgraded demons everything could have turned out differently. A damn same-shame defeat. Because this was probably one of the best games I've played. Almost no mistakes. But there's nothing to be done about it!
