Pit for LM (red, Inferno, Pyra, Pyra), zloy_romantik (blue, Tower, Nila, Gurnisson) def Pyre (green, Fortress, Tazar, Tazar), BISHOP (brown, Necropolis, Galtran, Galtran), Jebus, 124.
I felt something was wrong right after the pairing generation – the difference in city strength was just too great... And that's exactly how it turned out – we were picked last and got Inferno and Tower. I wanted to surrender immediately, but I had to push through... Fortunately, they let us pick our colors, otherwise it would have been even worse, as I'm still not great at the draw.
There were no bugs; we played the first generation. And I must say, nobody's starting resources were great. The Tower's were perhaps better, and the Swamp's were average. On my spawn, I had 2 dog caches, 2 imp caches, a conservatory for 2 angels, a clue for 8 wyverns, a Pandora for 5k exp and 10k gold, and a library. There were also two camps: one gave troglodytes and halberdiers, the second gave thunderbirds and cerberi. No troops, absolutely nothing to do during the first week, no artifacts; basically, everything was bad.
111 – I open the overview and see practically everything listed above. In terms of army – only imps (Ignatius arrived), I upgraded them. After Pandora, they give scouts, I take them. The center is pleasing – right by my exit there are boots +2 to all stats behind demons and a sword +5 to all stats with a library behind gorgons, and another library nearby. Deep in the desert, where a bugged passage conveniently spawned for me, there are 3 clues, wings, and a book of air.
112 – took both secondary sites.
113 – took a dwarf at 10, broke to replenish mana.
114 – Pandora for 10k gold. Slightly short of exp for level 10, I run to the chests. Got tactics.
115 - +1 level, library.
116 – clue for 8. For some reason, I didn't accept the quick battle results and wasted 30 extra devils...
117 – entered the conservatory. Build-up – efreets and dogs in the fort. At 117 I upgraded the dogs; the citadel wouldn't go up because I absolutely had to build GM2 and make cerberi, but the gorgons weren't built...
121 – all battles went easier than expected, even despite the lack of blindness in GM. The level 2 conservatory was taken without much trouble; the GO consisting of 90 gr. basilisks was easily handled thanks to the terrain. A hundred demons were split into three stacks and also fell easily. I already had advanced slow on the bulls, so 70 of them entered without much difficulty. In the end, all stats became 17 and the bolt hit for 410. The blues also move to the center and see that the browns were wiped out there at 117 by hydras for a box, a +4+4 crown, and utopia. This is encouraging. But then unexpectedly the hydras finish off Taz and take the utopia.
122 – I forget that there is expert land view and run the wrong way. Instead of covering Taz, I end up in a large and rich treasure area. A box for 10k exp, an Inferno city, where I stay to replenish mana. As a result, the blues have to fight without me. First, Ain with chain lightning softens Taz's army a bit. However, it's not particularly impressive – 5 hydras, 12 gr. wyverns, and some number of gorgons from Pandoras. We kill a hydra and some gorgons. Then Solmir wipes out more gorgons and the remaining units. After that, Gurni attacks. Unfortunately, there were no stat artifacts at all, and the level was very low. Therefore, breaking through Taz turns out to be difficult, even despite the massive army advantage – 17 wyverns, 3 angels, 250+ gremlins, 10 mages, 4 nagas, single units of gr. djinns. The battle could have gone very badly, even to defeat, but I managed to pull it off, and quite well – 11 wyverns, angels, and gremlins survived. Tazar bought his way out with 9 wyverns.
123 – Argued for a long time with Roma about whether Pyre needed control and extra wyverns from clues. I was urged to go finish off the swamp, but I felt that DD wouldn't hurt... This turn I took two hives for 16 wyverns, reclaimed the wings and the book of air. Gurni ran to the brown spawn. Then Taz flies into the center again and demonstrates wonders of logistics and piercing power, smashing everything in his path with a couple of wyverns...
124 – thanks to the wings, I easily clear two more clues, but they are small. Via the library and DD, I end up in the combat zone. I reclaim +4+4 armor and a prison with a useless Clancy. Nearby is a whole cluster of other prisons. However, the first one is enough, since Andra level 20 is there. I messed up and took Pandora with the wrong hero; however, there was useless water magic there anyway. Andra, using DD and wings, easily catches up to Taz; he stopped one step from the conservatory. I take 3 angels and attack. There are only 5 gr. wyverns, two of which immediately die from the angels' strikes.
Learning about the presence of control, the opponents surrender.
