"Battleship" TOURNAMENT - reports and summaries.

Noom (red, Human, Vitya+Dugal) defeated Sir_moz (blue, Human, Rutger+Iris) in the Labyrinth map, 146.

We were laughing until we saw the mirror – neither of us wanted to play as Demons against Humans. At the start, Dugal and Laslo appeared, and on the second day, Vitya joined. I hoarded Griffins, and my opponent dug up Iris on day 112 and didn't restart. I stubbornly prevented him from getting the Log, cleared two adjacent mines, and by day 127, I had trained 20 Monks and summoned Angels. On day 132, Vitya broke through to the resource mine, got the Log, and then became a Pope. He quickly earned enough money to train more units and started searching for the center. On day 135, he broke through to the center, found a lot of Draconian artifacts, the Boots of Swiftness, and took the Silent Boots. On the 4th week, my opponent appeared – he dispersed Rutger with 7 peasants. An attempt to kill him with Dugal, Archers, and initiative-boosting artifacts failed – Rutger bought his way out. Then, Iris attacked – now Dugal bought his way out. The next day, I sold all the artifacts, trained Monks, upgraded Griffins, and attacked, hoping that Iris hadn't had time to level up. My opponent's Griffins killed 100 Archers and didn't really do much else. My opponent didn't have a Mass Clone spell, and that decided the game. Thanks for the game.
