By the way, you should also check if the opponent had it in their spellbook; it might just be a joke if they did. And, Sisasty, I'll repeat my main point: if anything needs to be revised, it's the wording of the rules regarding stalemate situations, and then it will be clear for any specific game. Situations like this have happened before.
