HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

The only thing I see is that the "struggle" now is no longer with the "native" bugs of the game itself, but with the bugs of the mod. It's sad... :(

You know, creating a quality product is impossible without testing and bug fixing. Only those who do nothing make no mistakes. It's sad when this isn't understood. Nothing stops anyone from playing HD (without plus) and getting that same SoD.
