Okay, I'll start a new topic if needed. Regarding the hotel – we'll definitely help out. But in my opinion, rental apartments are still the most optimal type of accommodation for a few days in terms of price/quality ratio in Kyiv. But the owner is the boss, of course.
You're the owner, and we're the guests.
Once in Moscow, we rented an apartment, a guy called, introduced himself as the owner's son, and started doing something. We needed to leave, but how could we leave a person in the apartment, and if something disappeared, we would be responsible. We told him to leave, and he got offended, saying that we were kicking the owner out of the apartment. We didn't have the owner's phone number; our friends had arranged the accommodation, and it took a long time to sort things out. That's why a hotel is easier, but I'll still hang out with everyone :p ... and I'll send my wife to museums and shops.
