It would be nice if there was a generally accepted qualification system on the forum. Like in chess: 5 levels + 2 titles. And clear, well-defined standards, by fulfilling which one can obtain these titles. I wouldn't be lazy to calculate the standards for all participants and accordingly reward them.

You may be right, but without a playoff (without its logical conclusion), the tournament loses its spectacle and appeal. And if you don't make it into the top group, you can simply lose motivation.

The logical conclusion of the tournament starts on December 1st, I invite everyone to see for themselves. Personally, I will be happy to watch the battle in the grand final and at the same time play in my modest 4-5 group (with the hope of breaking into the spring grand final) :D I am sure that there will be an interesting and intense competition in groups 2 and 3.

In basketball, volleyball, and hockey, all 16 places are determined, not just the top 3, and rating points are distributed according to the place taken.
Fulldouble determines the top 4 places, and for the remaining 12 places and additional rating points, additional games can be held. Thus, even if a person loses in the losers' bracket in the 1/4 finals, for example, they will still have the motivation to play until the very last tie-breaker game for additional rating points, in addition to the rating points they will receive for the victory itself.

If you hold games for all places in the Olympic-style tournament, it loses all its advantages (brevity) while retaining its disadvantages. :D
