The initial idea of castle distribution is great.

It implied that everyone would be on equal footing.
Therefore, the idea would be even better if all players not only played as all 9 factions, but also played against all 9 factions. Then everyone would be on equal footing. And not like this, where some played against Fortress, Swamp, Necropolis, and Dungeon, while others played against Inferno and Tower.
