Is there a way to disable the splash screen/banner when launching the game? There's already a similar banner in the launcher. It's annoying to have so many of them. And the game starts noticeably slower because of it.
These few seconds, multiplied by numerous launches, become very irritating. [off]I don't think many people switch between HD and HD+ often, except maybe during tests – and even that could be displayed as an on-screen background message. I understand that there's a trend in AAA projects to show 3-4 unskippable videos during loading to make users feel the grandeur of the process, but I don't understand why it's necessary (it would be nice if the game loaded in the background while they were playing, but it doesn't).[/off]
