THE CRUSADE - Grand Final Winter 2013/14

Hello, friends! It's time to announce the conditions for the next stage of our tournament.

THE CRUSADE - Grand Final Winter 2013/14 - starts on December 1, 2013; the tournament mode is 2 weeks per round.
Vacation - from December 28, 2013, to January 12, 2014, inclusive.
Planned end of the tournament: March 16, 2014.
Draw: groups 1, 2, and 3 (7 people each) will be formed based on the principle: strong against strong.

Strength criteria in descending order of importance:
#1 - Placement in the group
Those who took 1st place have an advantage over those who tied for 1st place.
Those who tied for 1st place have an advantage over those who took a clear 2nd place.
Those who took a clear 2nd place have an advantage over those who tied for 2nd place, and so on.
(I initially wanted to assign points for placement to make it easier to sort in Excel, but then I decided that it could be easily sorted manually.)
#2 - Berger coefficient
In case of a tie in placement, the player with the higher Berger coefficient advances to the higher group.
It's easy to calculate that to guarantee a place in group 1 of the Grand Final, it is enough to tie for 1st place and win a personal match against the closest opponent in terms of points.
#3 - Elo rating
In case of equal Berger coefficients, individual ratings will be taken into account. The one with the higher rating advances to the higher group.

Groups 4 to 7 will be formed based on the principle of diversity of templates in each group.

Between tournament stages:
1. You can change your favorite template (map) and timer.
2. You can leave the tournament without consequences; in this case, the queue will move up, and some participants will move from their group to the higher group.
3. You can join the tournament; conditions: you have already participated in the tournament on Hv or you have 3 confirmed reports in the seasonal league.
Details about registration are in the first post of the topic. New participants will be placed in groups 4-7.

All participants, old and new, please post in this topic, indicating the template and timer. This is necessary for timely drawing!

I didn't participate in the 1st stage, why should I register for the 2nd? After the 2nd stage, there will be a 3rd stage, under the same conditions, tentatively from March 17 to June 8, 2014. Thus, one stage is a selection for the next Grand Final. After the 3rd stage, the tournament will go on summer vacation and continue in the fall, and will continue as long as there is interest from the players. In addition, The Crusade offers an objective and unbiased way to measure your heroic strength.
