There's a judge, and they're starting the tournament, what other questions are there?

There's a decision from the majority of players (which, in my opinion, is more important than the judge's decision in these matters) who decided to wait for the release of the new version of the TE mod. For now, the judge has ONLY assigned the teams; I don't understand what decision you're talking about here, and neither you nor Contra are judges. Alex hasn't written anything about the start of the tournament.
Plus, common sense hasn't been canceled, and starting to play on the old version of the mod when the new one (which implements some useful features and significantly improves the balance) is almost ready is complete nonsense.
For those who will have problems playing games due to the schedule changes, giving them a postponement to play the games equal to that same delay is a perfectly reasonable and fair solution.
