Surrendering wasn't bad either, as far as I remember I ran for 4 days along fast roads to the secondary town through the mountains, noticed the Grand grail late, took it on day 117, home had unicorn horns in the fort, tempo was terrible, plus a block of Efreetis, had to wait for Dees with Tactics to arrive, Ivor had neither Earth nor Slow, 20 mana and 1 spell power, in the treasure zone the only goodies were a Pandora's Box with 80 shooting Gremlins and a Dragon Fly Hive for 20-49 Mighty Gorgons, although I had 34 Grands I didn't go in, broke through to the enemy's secondary town and saw 2 Giant grails there (and immediately felt kinda sad).
Next turn, Nitro shaved off 7 of my Grands with Rocas and shooters, then attacked himself, Shakti's attack and defense are lower but he has Tactics, +1 to speed, Mass Slow, 50 mana, and 70 shooters, even more meat than I had, in the fight despite my 2 luckiest morale procs on the Grands which killed 140 Troglodytes and 3 Giants that came within direct shot range - no chance. Then I watched the saves, I could have tempo-wise on week 1 with 19 Grands broken through to his secondary and captured at least 1 Giant grail and maybe pressured him, but I thought with my Grand grail things were going very well and there was no rush. The game was nerve-wracking on a shoestring. Started without restarts, Ivor immediately broke through 2 blocks, a crypt on turn 2, a portal to the grass adjacent zone, expert Archery, got a ton of gold, 8 heroes on day 113, the adjacent zone turned out to be my own, on day 114 the Rocas captured a Cape +2/2 to Knowledge/Power and a scroll of Armageddon, Ivor expert Offense and ran for stat boosters. On day 115 freed Xyron from prison level 5, time was running out, and without dismissing Bones or Inferno meat, entered the Griffin Conservatory 1 with Fort, with 20 Grands, 2 Unicorns, 30 Centaurs, 1 Dendroid, 15 Skeletons, 17 Imps and 5 Gog and got wrecked - 5 anti-morale procs on Grands, Unicorns and Centaurs and 6 morale procs on Griffins, and Xyron didn't make it out, immediately wanted to turn off the PC and go to sleep :smile05:
Already thought about giving up, asked for auto, found out there was also a total loss there and we continued playing)). Which probably cheered up not only myself but also the opponent.
Ivor ran into a couple more stat boosters, got wiped, returned home, and stood on the road in front of the passage to the Underground, and right next to it along the road there was a passage to another grass secondary.
On day 121 finished the Griffin Conservatory, bought all Grands and Unicorns, and immediately almost crashed again on 1 Angel breaking through 57 Orcs with Fort, got out with 8 HP, on the same turn decided to capture +1 to speed from 50-99 Ogres, went in with 1 Angel, 9 Grands, 3 Unicorns and singles, and there were 70 of them with Fort, barely got out with the loss of 1 Unicorn, lucky they didn't get morale at the wrong time.
Afterwards there was chaotic running around, found 2 more Griffin Conservatories but they turned out to be strong, the only Dragon Fly Hive deep in the rear of the native spawn, the Rocas captured a Sword +3, a grail of Pegasi, in the castle 4 GM with Resurrection and Rain, wanted to teach Ivor Resurrection from Solmyr through a level 3 scholar but it didn't work out, on day 126 Ivor with 50 mana, 6 spell power Armageddon for 330, 70 shooters stood at the exit from the metro onto enemy territory next to ГО, near the exit there was an untouched Griffin Conservatory. On day 127 with all the meat 1 Angel, 16 Silver Pegasi, 16 Wood Elves, 6 Dendroids, 2 Unicorns, 28 Battle Dwarves, 40 Centaurs, got out onto snow, captured a single conservatory, and stood on the road next to the enemy main.
On his turn the opponent wipes on grass against morale-ing Dendroid Guards and surrenders. There were two Mage grails from week 1 and Berserker. Thanks for the game.
