I have an idea (although I'm not sure how difficult it would be to implement). Currently, Warriors are the strongest units in the game, despite the fact that the game involves both "might" and "magic". Therefore, would it be possible, and how would other players react, if Warriors were only offered the "Wisdom" skill as their last or second-to-last skill? Without it, they wouldn't be able to use magic from books or scrolls. This would allow magic users to compete with Warriors by using high-level spells earlier, and perhaps they would finally be chosen as starting units.
