Act VI. Awakening.

The fate of this place and everyone who ended up here will soon be decided. The decisive battle is coming.
Night began peacefully, but then everything changed dramatically. Drakkosha subdued another rebel and was returning home accompanied by one of the forest dwellers. She didn't object; besides, being near such a strong hero allowed her to relax a little without fear of attack. But not everyone attacks openly; some prefer to set traps, disarming their target and depriving them of the ability to defend themselves. Perhaps the darkness prevented the travelers from noticing the camouflaged pit on their path, into which Drakkosha fell. She tried to get out, but the pit turned out to be deep and too narrow for her large bodyguard, who remained above. Soon, Drakkosha noticed a light in the darkness, and it was approaching, making her even more worried. Left without her belongings, she started feeling around for any stone to use for self-defense. When Drakkosha finally saw her attacker, she tried to hit him, but the opponent was faster and pushed her aside, then struck her in the stomach with a pickaxe. Leaving a clover next to the body, the killer disappeared into the underground depths.
The figure stood in the middle of the thicket, looking around for pursuers. A crunching sound came from behind, and quickly turning around, Ment threw one of his knives. Unfortunately, there was no one there, and the blade went into the tree. But he was right; the enemy was lurking nearby, albeit on the other side. Noticing the silhouette, Ment threw his last knife, but it was easily deflected by a shield, so all that remained was to flee. Although he still had a sword, his condition reduced his chances to a minimum. Ment's mind clouded over, his legs stumbled, and his eyes treacherously closed. He tripped several times, and after another fall, he no longer had the strength to get up. It wasn't difficult for the killer to find the sleeping victim. Towering over Ment like a deity, the iron man swung his sword and delivered the final blow.
