19.10.2013 HellLighT(Green,Necro,Galthran), Slayzer(Red,Tower,Neela) def BISHOP(Blue,Inferno,Calh,Tiraxus), Pyre(Brown,Rampart,Ivor) Jebus cross 126
Decent start, right next to the path there were some nice boots lying around :smile08:, Galthran himself with 2 stacks, second came a Gnoll with 3 stacks, which were successfully converted into Skeletons, and they immediately became 120, Septiena granted a wave of death (which played no small role in the game).
On turn 112 I discover that the road which was supposed to lead to the Azure Dragon Utopia leads to grass, I was about to mention a restore, but decided to just go through with it for conscience's sake, immediately fought 18 Master Genies for the Griffin Conservatory, a prison, and an artifact +1 luck, ran further along the road and near the tower-village I grab a Pandora's Box with 24 Griffins with Leadership, and inside... :smile24: :smile24: :smile24:
I decide that if there's an Azure Dragon Utopia by the off-road, I'll play on, Galthran picked Offense, advanced Defense. On turn 113 I dive with single Fairies and Lords into the Griffin Conservatory Trong without looking, and it's max!! Everything was smooth and calculated, except for about 8 consecutive morale procs (no exaggeration, first time I've seen that) right during the Griffin stack swap, at one point only 5 Vampires were left!! but victory remained with the bloodsuckers, and even without losses, the hero sits on an Angel in the main to recover mana and run to where the Azure Dragon Utopia should be, and the rest of the hero shuffle (most of whom were pulled from prisons, about 4-5 were thrown in, the fodder from which was of course subject to ruthless transformation :smile51: ) I found a Black Market and a Lookout Tower, a beautiful view opened up, another Griffin Conservatory and 3 Dragon Fly Hives down a deep crappy path :smile28:, leading the horde was a rescued Pirate with Expert Logistics, and behind them Necromancer apprentices were skulking :smile13: from the market was bought a +1 all stats Necromancy cloak and 2 morale badges, one of which conveniently protected from mind spells) The Azure Dragon Utopia turned out to be 20 Behemoths, and nearby it a Stables and Arena, the exit happened on turn 116 with 3000 speed, but without Pathfinding, so it took 2 days to reach the center, but I more than comfortably broke through everything without mass magic (Behemoths, Devils, upgraded Cyclopes fell on auto-battle) in the treasure zone they give a Pandora's Box with all level 3 spells and a Staff of the Netherworld ring which I almost immediately sold for 20k gold on the respawn, entered the library, took the Citadel near the Inferno exit, the treasure zone turned out to be small and empty, 3 Dragon Fly Hives, 2 of which were inconveniently placed, +15 resistance boots, +2 all stats, +3+3 shield and a Pandora's Box with 3 Archangels (the only worthwhile one), on turn 121 on last moves I reach Ivor without mana and with an army (11 Pit Lords, 10 Wyverns and 25 Dendroid Guards), having 7 Angels (1 Paladin in the second Griffin Conservatory) 300 Skeletons, 3 Archangels, 26 Wyverns, in one turn I take out the Dendroid Guards and 6 Pit Lords, the rest as it seemed to me was immediately bought back, but I never saw them again :smile09: On turn 122 I eat a Dragon Utopia(1) they give Wings, and I start pushing as much as possible, the Rampart uprising was suppressed in 2 turns, but an Inferno player who had clearly gorged himself on Dragon Utopias popped out, his +10 spell power was shining since the middle of the first week! He drives off Slayzer, who had grabbed the unclaimed Hives I hadn't taken, with an exchange of 1 Angel for 7 of the opponent's Wyverns... according to a pre-prepared plan, there's a return to the center, which BISHOP had retaken, via prison and Wings, the beaten Galthran is bought back and catches up to the army on a horse (5 Angels, Wyvern, 4 Efreet 43 Demons) in one turn the Angel brotherhood cuts down four traitor brethren :smile31: :smile36: a buyback follows, I sit in the Citadel town, drive off Briska and kill Calh (who seemed to be a daddy hero too but was afraid to wipe the army) then I'm immediately covered by Tiraxus on leftover fodder and single Efreet, spell power 19, clearly smells of Armageddon, I cast Antimagic on the Archangels, Armageddon flies, halving all unprotected guys, but the opponent is left with 4 Efreet and 15 Demons, I think oh well a wave of death on turn 95 - that's victory, but no, 2 Efreet resist!!! on 5%!! lol omg wtf :smile11: :smile05: I shave off one, and another Armageddon follows, only 3 Archangels and 100 Skeletons remain from the army... sad, but well the opponent didn't have much either, and Brown was basically dying on singles deep in his own respawn without towns, however what worried me was BISHOP having Dimension Door/fly, which could have dragged out the game, but they met me with war, an attempt to kill with a Devil, Efreet Sultan and 6 Pit Fiends through Summoning of 26 Imps (enough for 3 casts) did not succeed, because the Archangels through wait did whatever they wanted (killed the Sultan and Devil) and could simply wait for the end of Antimagic and heal up, another attack with 6 single Pit Fiends, provoking mana waste, which I stupidly did the first time, immediately casting Antimagic and waiting, then comes an attack with a weak hero with 30 mana and level 13 spell power, with a possible explosion this still kills me, but thinking it over I remember I have a Death Wave which shouldn't fail a second time! and so it happened, GG WP :smile03: :smile49: Thanks for the game.
Confirmed, thanks for the game.
