It turned into a game of skeletons; starting around the third week, I began necromancing heavily. I had 9 angels, but the opponent killed three of them during his push. I had nothing to buy them back with, but he didn't continue fighting and retreated to his own territory. Since I already had an army, I took more cons; I placed angels on the second [week], and there was no contact until the second month. In general, I slowly necromanced with 3 Necromancers, took 2 Dragon Utopia, and built Archangels. In one week of the second month, the number of skeletons doubled; I also got lucky and found a tent behind which lay the Titan's Gladius. At the start of the week, Sandro quickly reaches the opponent with 2 Dimension Door and immediately goes for FB. A surprise—the opponent has Cursed Armor, while I have Shackles; morale dropped slightly, armies are roughly equal, both having 1000+ skeletons. But at the end of the round, Archangels reflect the cast and immediately fly into the ducks with Mass Haste (Crag's defense is weak) and hit hard. Then there were several casts from both sides; skeletons wipe out my 30 ducks in one blow, but my skeletons finish off everything that remains.
Thanks for the game.I confirm! On week 2, I dug up Crag, the only one who eventually got a log. It so happened that running to the opponent's capital was closer than to the central secondaries (one could have reached one center via off-road through a teleport, but it didn't work out, which also decided things). When we met once, I needed to push further toward any central city, but I didn't risk it since Crag only had 6 mana. I started building towers in the Tower (Resurrection, Explosion, Summon Earth)) and in the Rampart (Town Portal and Mirror), picking up all scrolls I saw, but I didn't see Flight or Dimension Door. On 212, I placed traders and bought the sword for AOTD. There were 3 necro-heroes (+artifact +10%) and a corner secondary Necromancer, but I didn't have time to build him up because I decided to try my luck with the guild here too. Right before FB, I set GM 5 and got Summon Air. With control, I could have helped more until victory. Otherwise, I think the chances in the finale were decent, but I was thinking sluggishly due to a fever and took it on the chin. If even one minimum Dragon Utopia had dropped at the respawn with any artifacts, it would have been much easier. The opponent has their native Dragon Utopia and another Dragon Utopia near the same computer, plus control + cons are all close.
Thanks for the game!
