Mafia 73. Forest Kingdom

Act IV. The Vultures.

The forest kingdom continues to descend into chaos; now, even during the day, not everyone dares to leave their shelters because there are fewer defenders of the forest, and the enemies are strengthening their positions. If decisive and correct actions are not taken, the invaders will win.
Sesame moved very quietly as usual, hiding from anyone she might encounter. She had a goal and was resolutely heading towards it, wanting to fulfill her purpose. But Sesame wasn't the only one who could navigate the forest skillfully and set up ambushes; there were other masters of this craft. The distraction tactic worked, and the assassin pounced on his victim, knocking her to the ground. Although he wasn't tall, he was quite heavy. Sesame tried to resist, but with her weapon, it was useless; the attacker struck with an axe, then another ten times. He hacked with particular ferocity, shouting some word that sounded like "Gvidon."
Almost at the same time, another attack occurred, but MyHighness was nearby and drew the threat onto herself. She tried to shoot down the figure in armor, but without success. When the enemy got close enough, MyHighness engaged him in melee combat and lost. The killer pierced her with his sword, wiped the blade, and left, leaving his victim to die. Before dying, she merely said, "I kept watch so you could sleep peacefully."
The battles didn't end there, but the third battle ended without casualties. In the morning, those who had been a little unlucky again had to be freed from traps. Gura was pulled out of a pit, and GoedenDag was taken off a tree.
