In general, I was lucky to immediately arrange an alliance with the reds, since the spawn was very unlucky.
There were unexpectedly many restarts — either a timer issue in the new version, or Artyom had only one road to the GO, or I had no road to the GO.
Eventually we started, Artyom again had only one road to the GO, but overall, it seemed okay, so he decided to play.
As for me, my resp was normal — 3 hives with a total of 26 wyverns, one Griffin Conservatory with 4 angels, a few normal majors. A chest with 5k gold. External dwellings — one dragon utopia and one troglodytes. Also native secondary skills, a dragon utopia, a library. It would seem, just gather everything and break out on the first month using liches and thunderbirds. But the problem was that the starting army consisted of 12 gogs, 50 troglodytes, and 18 harpies, which I upgraded immediately and distributed for speed. Nothing to fight with, nothing to level up with, no Pandora's boxes with troops or experience at all. I couldn't even enter the dragon utopia, and taking the hives was risky too.
As a result, I took the first hive with 6 wyverns only on day 115! On day 116 — the second one with 8, I cleared Shakti for the external dwelling. On day 117 I first changed my mind, wanted to clear the utopia and stand on the conservatory, but the artifact taken by Izra turned out to be maximum. There they devoured almost everything, I had to flee to the external dwelling with the Miner. Outcome — at home, minotaurs in a fort with a portal and a Mage Guild, in the secondary town — a portal.
The reds were doing very well — two external dwellings of unicorns, an external dwelling of elves, a Pandora's box with 10k experience, and a GO of ogre magi. Ivor stayed there overnight on day 117 with Boots of Speed.
On day 121 I took the max conservatory and approached the GO. On day 122 I broke through everyone, took the artifact for 12 in the center and the Red Sphere. I immediately gave the sphere to Ivor, who over those days had captured a Helm +6 to all stats, a superb Tyraxor from a prison, a Sentinel's Shield, a utopia with the Book of Air, a Necklace +3 to all stats. That same day, Tazar crawled out of the swamp and took a utopia.
On day 123 Tazar was driven back to his swamp (there were only 9 hydras and singles), and the reds went to finish off the blues. I began to accumulate power.
Day 123 — I took two Pandora's boxes, useless unfortunately — 2nd level and all water. An artifact for +6 at the same place. On day 124 I take the home utopia, which gives complete garbage — Book of Water, Sentinel's Shield, and Necklace of Ocean Navigation. On day 125 I upgrade 7 dragons, recapture one of the central cities, to which the road only went from my spawn. There I take Boots +2 to all stats and clear the guards from two hives. By this time, the blues were crushed.
On day 126 I capture the reds' village, next to which there is a utopia. I bring up the army, to which 14 wyverns were added, break Shakti, take it. It gives fairly good stuff — a Sword +5 to all stats and a Shield +4 to all stats. Also a Captain's Hat. The green parameters look insignificant, but I have a ton of army. We decide to give the artifacts to me, since we were afraid of Shackles (and not in vain, as it will turn out).
On day 127 Tyraxor clears a Pandora's box, which was originally intended to be fed to Gunnar — but the guard was strong, so the Barbarian takes it himself. All magic. Not bad, with additional Dimension Door a second front of attack on the greens opens up. Right then my first contact — I drive off Luna.
On day 131 I capture the central Barbarian town, move out with 12 black dragons, 42 wyverns, and 4 angels toward the green capital. Artyom, meanwhile, fished somewhere that day, which allowed the reds to retake the capital, and there — an unbought growth. True, we also didn't have much gold, so we couldn't buy everything.
On day 132 Gundula attacks Tyraxor in the castle. We didn't conduct the battle in the best way, because we expected the opponent to have resurrection, which they didn't. We only took down all the creatures, otherwise Armageddon could have also thinned them out nicely :). Gundula remains in the town.
On day 133 I collect all the artifacts, buy additional army. An angelic alliance unexpectedly formed :). And the Barbs were waiting for this. Gundula met me as is proper — Cloak of the Undead King and Armor of the Damned. Only the Sphere of Permanence was missing. However, that wasn't so important. Without twenty bears, the battle was a formality — 13 black dragons with triple parameter advantage tore everything apart.
