I think GodenDag was a Centaur. After all, the Lizardman uses ranged weapons; he couldn't deflect attacks and strike back. But a Centaur could. "Lair" also confused me at first, but the phrase "centaur lair" does exist, although here they prefer open areas... well, a lair can be in an open area in principle. I didn't really understand the hint about Plesen's role... but he was probably killed by the Engineer. And I don't see the Naga block: Saba locked up the Miner, Visha locked up the Hunter, and Rudo locked up the Fairy Queen. It's time to look at the clues.
