An example of their uniqueness: the presence of paralyzing units, units with immunity to weapons, immunity to death magic for most units, etc.
The downside of the Hordes is their slow development and low health, which can be easily compensated for by "pouring experience into one," so that after the first 2 battles, we have two level 2 magical units in our squad on the first day. The Hordes are strong, but on a small map, they will have a hard time against the Clans, and on a large map, against the Legions. Plus, you can't "pour experience into one" for the Hordes' archers.:cool:
