Are Town roles useless for the Town?

Town roles are part of the Town. However, Maniacs can be useful for the Town, in rare cases – one of the Mafia teams can be useful if the other team has a significant advantage.

Regarding the night kill – I believe that Vesper was a Satyr, since only he and Naga are described as cheerful, but I can hardly imagine the latter dodging an attack, let alone running away.

I think the next night will reveal everything. Naga blocks first, and we seem to have seen his night defense. It's clear that we have a Town player killed.
