Another one who isn't reading my posts carefully... I never claimed that there should be only one champion. I argued that the champion should win this title in a competition with the strongest possible lineup. Therefore, I am happy with the WT-only tournament format, as it has been for all these years. I am also generally happy with the SoD-only tournament format for the reasons stated on the first page. But I am not happy with the option of two parallel tournaments with a weaker lineup - this would be a mockery of the idea of a tournament of the strongest, and it wouldn't even be worth attending. If you want 2 tournaments, they should be held sequentially, not in parallel. And there can be 2 different champions in them - that's fine. There was a proposal from Nagan and Tvarina for a SoD champion in Kyiv, but it seems to have fallen through. This is why I came up with the idea of holding it in Minsk. That's why I proposed the option that I did, as it corresponds to my understanding of the importance of the title. Am I explaining myself clearly enough, or is someone else struggling to grasp the meaning of what I'm writing?
