2Vik: Playing in two categories seems absurd to me. Coming to Minsk to play 8 (!!!) games of Heroes... I don't know. And frankly, I really don't want to organize a tournament that lasts so long. 6-7 days is necessary and sufficient.

2Kostya: The reasons why I proposed two brackets have already been described in detail, both here and on VT. Take a look if you're not too lazy. And please, forgive me, but the arguments against my scheme at the level of "in my opinion, there should be only one champion" don't seem very convincing.

Well, to me, the option with two parallel tournaments seems even less successful. Simply because in this case, the composition of both tournaments will be significantly weakened. It just so happens that the majority of participants in live tournaments play both VT and SoD well, so we'll have to somehow divide them into two brackets, supplementing them with enthusiasts of individual versions.

And what legitimacy will the winner of the SoD tournament have if half of the real contenders for victory don't participate? There will be none, really... so what's the point of such a tournament? And the VT roster might suffer too if some cunning Cobra decides to sign up for the SoD bracket because the prize is more attractive.

I agree that it will be more challenging in terms of time. That's why I'm only expressing this thought as a suggestion – to hear the opinions of the participants.
