Opp didn't take rests, I took two. Lizardmen not built. Two native heroes in tavern + ballista + 4 Serpent Flies: gotta play. Roads are slow.
111 I build Lizardmen. I take a couple of crypts (including max) with the "loshami" [likely "characters" or heroes]. Spread of 8 heroes. Tazar runs along the road. No external dwellings, no Dragon Fly Hives.
112 Scouting respawn, Tazar runs around the stat boosters. I build Wyverns. No external dwellings, no Dragon Fly Hives.
113 I upgrade Lizardmen, pick up +3 Shield behind 10-19 trees. Moving towards the secondary.
114 Tazar level 5, got Earth magic. Prepares to break through to the secondary, takes a couple more stat boosters (gold golems and crusaders). I build Serpent Flies.
115 I build Basilisk and break through to the secondary.
116 Moving to the village along the road, simultaneously clearing what's near the road. I build Citadel.
117 I take the secondary, scouting. Park Tazar at the stables. Planning to break 20-49 ogres with the next week's growth for the Dwarf Cottage and Naga Bank.
121 News of surrender arrives. Reasons: "crippled template", "just flat out no money at all."
30.09.2013 Nitro (Red, Tower, Monere) def cuc9ctblu (Blue, Rampart, Dace), 2SM4d(3), 147. game 3
Took a long time to start. We chose all rests + one game on 115 was restarted upon meeting. Again the damn slow roads (don't do that!). 4 roads (1 ГО, 2 grass secondaries, 1 Citadel secondary). Monere is in the tavern. Opp's pass is not available (he's offline for now), so writing from memory.
First week: sparse respawn, on 111 I take max crypt with Monere. Good spread, but respawn is sparse and not big. 2 external Gargoyle dwellings. Got Luna, leveled her a bit and broke through to the secondary with her (about 35 Water Elementals). Took the secondary (Castle), revealed 3 Dwarf Cottages on the secondary. Home have Nagas in Citadel.
Second week: on 121 with the weekly growth of shooters I take 2 Dwarf Cottages (mini I think). On 122 I upgrade Nagas, with them I break the twenty Dwarf Cottage and enter the treasure zone. There I take a Dragon Fly Hive, gold mine, refuge. Nothing else to do there: guards are all Sultan Efreet and Phoenixes, and Monere has no Earth magic or Tactics. I get wrecked. Then Opp runs up and stands on the road between my main and secondary (on grass). I check him: 5 6 3 (17) 32 Grand Elves, 65 gr Centaurs, 4 Horses, 8 Pegasi, 18 Centaurs. I buy back in the main, upgrade and buy Genies, decide to attack, despite the grass and expert Tactics from opp. I have: 7 5 5 (30) 80-90 Master Grendins, 10 Mages, 5 gr Nagas, 6 Swarm Master, 3 Genies, 18 gr Golems. I made a mistake: put Nagas in 7th slot, and shooters in 1-2. Opp thinks for a very long time. He deploys at the top for a rush on shooters. With two stacks of Genies I cast Stoneskin on the Master Grendins and Shield on the Mages. Opp rushes the shooters, blocks Nagas at the bottom. Master Grendins get Blinded in the first round. Everything is bad. Then "everything's hazy," but in the end opp buys back with 16 Centaurs, and I'm left with 5 Mages, ~30 Master Grendins, 11 Golems, and 2 Genies. I turn around and run through the main to the 2nd grass secondary, it's tiny, but has a level 2 Griffin Conservatory.
Third week: on 131 with the growth I take the Conservatory. I go through the main to the 1st secondary to cross through it over trackless terrain to opp's main castle. The idea is to make it before 141.
Fourth week: Opp decided not to fight for the main, but to clear the treasure zone (he had oil, unlike me). On 141 I take his main. On 143 the secondary (also Rampart, by the way). Then follows a scuffle until 147, when opp surrenders after losing his army in the treasure zone.
P.S. With scouting I revealed the treasure zone beyond the mountains where opp was running, observed as he took Pandora's Boxes with a tiny army hoping they'd give uniques. Was surprised when he killed 50-99 Psychos (for a Pandora), but when he attacked 1-4 Rust Dragons (for 2 Pandoras), I decided to bet 2 jars of Yaga that he wouldn't kill them. Lost the Yaga, but the Pandoras never gave him meat, which ensured my victory.
Thanks for the games!
