Pit for LM (brown, Rampart, Kyri, Kyri), Iamsamstan (blue, Stronghold, Gurnisson, Gurnisson) def Shameonyou (green, Necropolis, Galtran, Galtran), c0nn3c71nkK.ppL (red, Conflux, random Erdamon, Grindan), Jebus, 124.
Castle came up as the first pick. Necro, Conflux, Rampart — basically didn't matter, but I decided to take Rampart — it might be slightly easier to break into the center on the first round.
In the end, the layout turned out to be quite average — one Pandora, 2 hives, and a dragon cache on the respawn. Also a utopia, though it wasn't quite clear how to take it. GO — bone dragons with GS, quite unpleasant.
111 — a good spread for 8 heroes, revealed almost the entire respawn, as well as part of the center with wings, Pandoras, Utopias, the Sword of Justice... But that's all through the mountains via rough backcountry. 4 elves entered, and I pulled Melody from prison — another 4 elves + a decent stack of centaurs was gathered. Also quite lucky with stat artifacts — helmet +5, shield +4, armor +1 to all, and an attack-defense ring from the crypt. Took one gold mine.
112 — the mage with 4 gogs clears the swamp village, Kyri takes a couple of imp warehouses and a few upgrades. Found a dragon cache, which is where I'm heading. Meanwhile, Jeditt takes the second gold mine and moves toward the second village. And on the way, an angel is picked up at the refugee camp.
113 — the Tower village was taken, and on the way, a Pandora was defeated for 34 gr. by gargoyles. The army returns to Kyri — the dragon cache is ours.
114 — I think for a long time about what to do. According to the calculator, the Pandora had either 10k gold, level 4, or pegasi. I felt like it could be 10k experience... Nevertheless, I decided to trust the program. This is what saves me :). It turns out there is experience in the Pandora, and Jeditt gets expert earth and advanced intellect. Now taking the utopia on 121 becomes absolutely elementary. Accordingly, I decide to build up the dragons and not rush into the center on the first round.
115 — Kyri runs to the far hive, Jeditt goes through the upgrades.
116 — the hive turns out to have 8 vivs; thanks to expert armor and decent stats, it's taken without losses. Kyri heads home to replenish mana — the +5 helmet is already secured.
117 — Jeditt takes the second hive; with resurrection for the centaurs, he also takes it without losses — also 8. They give expert intellect — there will be 200 mana on 121, more than enough for the utopia. And Kyri stands on the angel at the GO.
121 — the utopia turns out to be level 3, spent about 120 mana there and two level 1s. The rewards are good — a book of earth and a sword +5 to all, as well as a sphere of water, which was also pleasing — Kyri's ice bolt now hits for 400+, explosion for 900+, but the second spell is very expensive in terms of mana — only 10 knowledge... Jeditt portals to the village to replenish mana, the army goes to Kyri, who breaks through 3*7 dragons and exits into the desert. Immediately found speed boots and a golden bow. Spent the rest of the turn aimlessly — took a hive, realized that rushing in there with 7 stacks of dragons and elves is a bad idea, and rushing 50+ mages for the titan cuirass is also kind of a bad idea, basically just ran back and forth.
122 — based on the opponents' moves, I realize I played wrong — I spotted a +6 to all helmet behind some ghosts near the cuirass. Fortunately, no one took it. Rion took the handcuffs, Tunar took the hive, which luckily turned out to be maxed; now with the correct army, I take the cuirass, reach the helmet, take it, and decide to portal home to replenish mana. And it wouldn't hurt to upgrade the dragons.
123 — Here, the green Galtran enters the center, followed by the blue Gurnisson. After a long and hard battle, the greens surrender. Well, I decided that since the blues beat the greens, they can proceed to the next round :). Ran to crush the reds. With 3500+ moves, this turned out not to be so difficult.
124 — Kyri takes one central city, Tunar on the dragon takes the second, the tower, from where everything is visible from the overview. Although Grindan is far, you can't run from Kyri. I attack with the handcuffs — the only serious thing there is 36 vivs, but 29 die immediately from the explosion. GG.
Thank you all for the game!
That's how it was. Played everything terribly, deserved the loss. Thanks everyone for the games and the tournament!
