Seriously, here is some preliminary information. The championship will run from 01.05.2014 (Thursday) to 09.05.2014 (Friday). Registration for participants will begin approximately in December, after the final approval of the specific venue (the base, so to speak).

Regarding the game versions for CIS-2014. To prevent a civil war between the "Hold'em players and Omaha players," I have proposed creating 2 independent brackets for the upcoming tournament: VT and SoD. And there will be 2 champions: a champion according to the SoD version and a champion according to the VT version. Just like in boxing (and not only). If desired (and if there is time), these champions, after the ceremony and awarding of prizes, will play a "sort of representative super-final" with a trade for the version (or VT under SoD).

This championship is considered and called an open one, but for the sake of proper organization, I will limit the number of participants to 32 people in advance. 16 in each bracket. If, by February-March, the number of applications exceeds the limit, online qualifying rounds will be held. The number of spectators is unlimited.

P.S. I played in WKL and on Live (at Black Knight's) for 3 years, playing various SoD, skirmishes, etc. I really enjoyed it. Then, one summer, I came to VT and played a Jebus VT game with Alex. And then 8mm6a full-VT. Since then, I haven't played SoD once. I launched a balance (on which I previously enjoyed playing 300+ games in WKL) and almost died of boredom by the 117th turn.
