Actually, if it's possible to integrate the GM rebuild into SOD (which I highly doubt), then you can confidently play competitive matches on it. Because the biggest drawback in SOD (subjectively, of course) is the problem with obtaining control. However, such a patch would ruin Warlord for everyone who isn't interested in playing with experience and mirror matches. And even the freaks in the chat won't save it.
