Confirmed. Absolute poverty on both sides. On the first week, having 4 heroes, no money, no logs to hire cavalry, no decent archers, I realize there’s barely any chance. In one secondary, the guard is Evil Eyes; in another, 10-19 basic Vampires are visible. In the end, when I came to fight them, there turned out to be upgraded Medusas behind them. Swamps aren’t great for going around. The only joy of the first week was Crag, who immediately got Earth magic. By the end of the first week, no troops remained (since bypassing the Medusas forced me to also break Knights). Build Swordsmen and Griffins in the Citadel. On the second week, the swamp secondary is just as poor. I decide to split up. While hauling the treasury, I decided to fight with Crag using upgraded Griffins. On day 1-2-6, my Crag stands there pondering what to do next... and Marusya catches him with some scraps instead of an army. We buy him out. On day 1-2-7, losing a few Griffins, we take the Nagash at 4 (since there’s no money, but we need to hire cavalry). On day 1-3-2, we break 100+ Fire Elementals for a Pandora’s Box and a Dragon Fly Hive at the home respawn. The Hive is tiny; the Pandora’s box was pleasing—60 Pikemen. Decided to upgrade immediately. Then Marusya showed up. On single units of Centaurs. Reckless. And there was no way to completely dodge them all (no Death Wave, no speed artifacts). The hell with it—I attacked with Dad, realizing they’d break on me this way, but Dad was passing by anyway. I waited for magic—none came. Marusya fled. Well, I thought I either go for Treasures or try to take the opponent’s capital. I chose the latter (obviously, for nothing). I didn’t prepare the maneuver. I locked the opponent in the city—he doesn’t attack me. I don’t attack him in the castle either. Then for no good reason, I decided to show off and snag the Champions in passing. But they snagged me, weakened my army, and most importantly—my mana (of which Tazar, with Spell Power 7, had only 20). I surrendered the match myself. Execute cannot be pardoned.
