Confirmed. OP got Adel almost from the start, and on the neighboring zone from the cartographer. I got nothing :) Naturally, I had no chance against diplomacy and the imbalanced scouting, even though I managed to build in 2 of my strongholds on week 1 and in 3 of them on week 2, along with bears, birds, and castles. Anarchy, that's how it is — gives everything to some, nothing to others :(
Confirmed. I didn't know the template, got lost on where to go. Then OP said after watching the replay that I apparently ended up somewhere I shouldn't have due to some bug. Took me a very long time to find the path to the opponent until he found me himself. There was no endgame; I didn't have time to group up and run to the castle or open the Dragon Utopia. As always, I was one day short :) ---------------- MuLLIyTa
Confirmed. I played this template for the first time. I picked Dungeon, hoping there'd be at least one external dwelling of something and that the portal of summoning would work. It was not meant to be :( . Naturally, I spawned in the underground. No bypasses or passages anywhere, just solid blocks of various shooters everywhere. In the underground, it's practically impossible to get around the blocks. Luckily I took a mage with meteor showers; with Shakti I would have surrendered on day 3. 100+ Troglodytes wouldn't have handled hordes of eyes, orcs, gogs, and archers. The template is certainly interesting, but you need to know it, and underground towns aren't really that great here, or maybe I just had bad luck with spawns, since the heroes seemed fine :D
