I can’t launch the game using HD.

You go to the heroes3.tv website -> download -> download the version that is smaller in size (I haven't downloaded the Obsa version, so I don't know which one is better), it already has the HD mod pre-installed. After downloading, you unzip the pack, update the HD mod through the launcher, and start playing.
