I agree that it's not good that the team compositions don't change. Players can team up and continue like that until the final. I think a random draw is needed in each round.

Yes, players can team up in different ways; for example, I currently have 3 opponents, and I've played against each of them several times, I know them all, and I have a good impression of all of them. And it's not a given that the pairings will be the same as in previous games.
