There is some truth to that. Judging by your post, this person could definitely be considered a captain. Can you provide a link to resources where he played before and ask for save files of a few games for analysis?

We talked to him, and I got a general idea of his strength compared to the Polish community. He's a solid mid-tier player, as I understand it. He doesn't compare himself to the top players; he plays at a moderate level. Honestly, I don't even know what "moderate" means on our forum because everyone can beat everyone else (in terms of the overall skill level having improved).

He was a reserve player for the Polish WOH during the inter-portal battles.
