Necromancer tactics against Conflux.

Playing Necropolis against Conflux can be quite challenging. But it's still quite possible. First, prepare your "meat" (accumulate skeletons); you'll need a lot of them. Protect your liches and death knights; they will be your main force. Vampires are less important; they don't resurrect into elementals (although they can be used effectively against phoenixes). You need to build up your magic to level three as quickly as possible (to raise undead!) and get earth magic. After that, you need to hurry. Use vampires to fight phoenixes, and either vampires or liches to fight magical elementals. Then, adapt to the situation. The downsides of Conflux are that elementals cannot be resurrected, your own spells don't affect magical elementals, and ice elementals are large and difficult to protect. You need to take advantage of this.
