A drawn-out game, I couldn't find a way to form an angel alliance, while my opponent had as many as 3 within sight. However, I had my own trump cards in the form of a red orb + AotD, 3k skeletons, 10 archers, and 266 griffin. On turn 227, I saw Alamar settled in a village with a decent army (and it turned out he also had a lot of artifacts). I teleported and attacked him with 2 damage dealers, and the final battle was won in 2 rounds with the loss of a few vampires. Thanks for the game.
In general, after a series of failures, I was heading towards a loss, but when I found the Crown of the Magi, the Sphere of Fire, and the Titan's Armor, a plan for Armageddon emerged. Then I looked for control, which I eventually found. From the dungeon, Alamar, level 20, with fire, earth, and air, emerged.
