It is definitely impossible to turn a monster into a hero with skills. Copying parameters and race seems to be not difficult. I'm not sure about the skills; artifacts, it seems, cannot be copied.

Or, you will simply have to write a VERY complex check for EVERY skill and artifact in the game.
