What does a Necromancer need a blanket for?

I'm always sleeping under a blanket.

No, it's all nonsense. Normal Necromancers always sleep in coffins or caves. They always sleep under a blanket and keep warm, like in little houses, while their undead minions stand at the entrance and ward off thieves/clowns/inquisitors. Actually, it's nice to sleep under a blanket, especially cuddling with a teddy bear. You sleep during the day, get up at night, and can perform rituals again.

Necromancers are cold-blooded, or rather, cold-boned! Why would they need a blanket?
They say that a Necromancer wrapped in a blanket remembers his past life, which evokes old memories and feelings. Such confusion causes a short circuit in the very spirit that sustains life - hence, the end. Beware of blankets, fellow Necromancers!

We need to come up with special Necromantic blankets. Stuffed with human fingernails, and pillows made of raven feathers. The bed itself should be made of the bones of a slain dragon, or at worst, of marble. The status of the Necromancer's bedroom distinguishes them by rank. If a Necromancer is still sleeping in a rotten coffin, then his time has long passed, and it's time for him to be relegated to the dustbin of history.
