Usually, I complete "medium" XL maps with a Dungeon in about 6 months; if it's a "piece of cake," it takes 4 months, and if there's a lot of "meat" and powerful enemies, it takes 9-12 months. The game can also be prolonged if I want to capture all the neutral castles and find the Grail – then I have to tediously search the outskirts for "hidden" obelisks or teleporters.
