Clearing neutral creatures.

Grem and golems are great; divide them into stacks, maintain your defense, and few will pose a threat. If the enemy consists of archers, mages, or other ranged units, I send in a gargoyle because, in my opinion, they are most effective against those types of enemies. The key is not to attack with them, but to divide them into stacks and surround the enemy. These two methods help me to deploy units with minimal losses, but only against neutral creatures. However, I think everyone already knows this.
