How do I open the gate in the Necromancer's lair? I killed everyone, found the sphere, visited all the rooms, and I'm tired of riding the elevator... in short, the gate won't open for me!!!!

Which gate are you talking about? As far as I remember, you need to run to the very beginning, where the portal is, and activate it. P.S.: I don't remember anything about the gate, as I didn't have any problems with it.
