13.08.2013 Javdet (red, Castle, Caitlin, Gunnar) def Simon5760 (blue, Necromancer, Clavius, Gosha) 2sm4d3 132
A very interesting game turned out, with plenty of mistakes on both sides.
Dreams of a rush vanished when I got beaten by air elementals, miscalculated the overgrowth, and they started breaking the marksmen.
On the 2nd month I finally found a passage to my opponent, but he was firmly entrenched with his army in the town. I found a loophole on the other side. I led his brigade away from the town, and popped out with Gunnar on the other side. The trick worked — the army left the town for heroic deeds, and we came to visit. I had plenty of turns to spare, so I ended up in his castle.
Then came a rushed deadlock — in the end, the chain didn't work out to return Gunnar to the castle, and we fought out in the open. I dragged the fight to a stalemate, but my opponent had no way to buy back 300 skeletons.
Thanks for a very interesting game.
Confirmed!
We got wrecked and went all out! The start wasn't good — not a single pile of gold at the initial respawn, but Goshan was in the tavern, so I was ready to fight! :smile19: One road was blocked by liches, so I went the second way and found 2 passages to secondary zones. I barely broke through the griffins, and the secondary turned out to be native :smile03: — already 150 skeletons and 8 vampires! I don't know what devil made me push into the other secondary, but I got a serious beating)) the lizardmen fell, but I was left with 50 skeletons, and then a block of marksmen ((( breeding went fine, I necromanced 300 skeletons, but then my opponent came and forced me back to my capital. We fought with hero chains and he lured my army away while snatching the necromancy pendant right from under my nose (( I went on to necromance more, leaving the liches and half the skeletons in the castle, then found a Griffin Conservatory 3 and decided to take it. I moved the meat out of the capital, messed up the chain, and had to take the liches into the Conservatory (naturally I lost them) :smile35: I pass the turn, and then my opponent bursts out of another passage and storms the capital with singles, breaking the chain! I had to rush Goshan from the secondary, grabbed a Pandora's Box with 20 air elementals along the way, upgraded them to 30+. I decide not to fight for the main and head into the treasure zone. Then the opponent leaves the capital, so I decide to capture it with a hero chain, ending up with -1 angel and 2 psychos, annoying (( I buy back the hero chain and go to scout the second passage to my opponent. I see he hasn't gone far and decide to fight, but I played the finale terribly — lack of experience showed and I ended up losing! How I could blow such a monster I have no idea)
The game really turned out interesting and dynamic!
Thanks for the game!
