I don't understand one thing – what causes this?!

The display of stats in the hero menu may be inaccurate. To be absolutely sure about the hero's stats, you need to exit the menu and re-enter it.

When taking a screenshot in the hero menu, a stat might not disappear. To make it disappear, you can close the hero menu. The lag is very rare and only affects the display.

This is because the event that handles the display doesn't account for certain details within the hero menu itself.
