Haven isn't the weakest faction, and if you can beat it on day 1, it means you're not doing so badly!

It depends on what your goal is when trying to beat it...
If you're trying to force a restart in the match, then it's enough to outsmart and choose a suitable Haven unit from at least 4 options.
Think about it - the condition for a restart is to beat one group of monsters by day 6.
You struggle for 6 days, and then your opponent makes you happy: "I cleared the horde of dendroids, let's start over! :)"
