Connection between Heroes of Might and Magic II and III.

Isn't there a separate article about the world of Heroes?

Actually, there is one; it's over a hundred pages long (or maybe even a few hundred – I don't remember exactly). However, it contains too much nonsense (or rather, the author's fantasies) that has nothing to do with the world of Heroes. And the writing style isn't particularly easy to read. So, I can't even suggest a title or where to find it.
