A new record for the largest battles has been set in the popular space online RPG EVE Online. On July 28, a battle began, gathering more than 4,000 players. One of the game's developers confirmed after the battle that it was the largest battle in the game's history. The confrontation between the game's largest alliances, CFC and TEST (whose allies were N3/Nulli), involved 4,070 ships, 2,900 of which were destroyed... The battle was calculated on one server, so the developers had to slow down time in the game by 90%. The battle lasted more than 5 hours of real time... The battle surpassed in scale the January battle in the Asakai system, where 3,000 ships clashed. Then, the losses of the losing side amounted to about 20,000 real dollars - many things in the game are bought for real money. An 18-minute fragment of that battle can be viewed on YouTube.
What do I think about it? It's a pity that "Heroes" will never again generate such interest and set new records!.. :(
